- What made you decide to take the Diploma in IT?
I chose to study the Diploma in IT as I really enjoy doing IT, and the Diploma sounded really interesting.
- What is your favourite thing about the Diploma in IT?
My favourite thing about the IT Diploma is that it is not just classroom work, you have work experience and you work alongside different businesses.
- Do you feel studying a Diploma in IT has better prepared you for your future? If so why?
I think that the Diploma in IT has helped me to prepare me better for the future, as the Diploma is work related so it gives us a good understanding of how IT is used in a business.
- Would you recommend studying a Diploma in IT to friends? and why?
Yes I would recommend studying the Diploma in IT to a friend, as it is a really good course and it prepares you for the world of work. The course is really good and fun.
- After studying the Diploma in IT, where do you think it will take you? i.e. to university, to do an Apprenticeship etc
After I have completed the diploma, I am hoping to go to university. I think that after studying the Diploma in IT, and the work experience that I have been on is going to give me a good experience of the world of work.
- What is your favourite thing about technology or your favourite piece of technology? Let us know why.
My favourite piece of technology is the new surface technology at Microsoft. The surface technology is a computerised table, it is fun and interesting. You can play around on games, you can put your mobile phone on the table and pull out your pictures and flick them onto another mobile phone, and you can put your mp3 player or IPod onto the table and play your music thought the table off you IPod. It is really fun to play with. There are so many applications on it, its amazing.
