JOB TITLE: QA Engineer

Go through contact received overnight from MySpace in the USA who will have flagged up several issues to check. Test what developers in the UK have created and go through the bug fixes to make sure they are correct and have fixed the problems. Find more bugs.

RELATED DEGREE:

• A Levels – English Literature, History
• Computer Science Degree with a Sandwich year in the field undertaking programming work

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Wanted to become a Developer but saw that there were more opportunities in QA
• Worked for television company before joining MySpace

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good technical knowledge
• Good, solid understanding of scripting Languages such as JavaScript
• Attention to detail
• Ability to think from the perspective of others
