JOB TITLE: Senior Business Relationship Manager
Manage multiple accounts at a strategic level, building relationships at director level and with key decision makers across TfL
- Managing and mentoring a team of BRMs, including graduates. Coaching, empowering and motivating team and ensuring they have the support and guidance required to perform their role effectively; supporting BRMs with their accounts. Establishing weekly team meetings, 121s and implementing team processes
- Building open and honest relationships with senior stakeholders across TfL, promoting value-added, effective and efficient ways of working with IM. Making recommendations on customers IM requirements and future ways of working. Keep the customer abreast of developments across IM and pan - GLA as appropriate
- Identifying quick wins and future opportunities for closer collaborative working with both the business and IM
RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology, 3 A Levels, 11 GCSEs
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years in Consultancy
- 2 years in Marks & Spencer
- 2 years in Merrill Lynch
- 2 years in Network Rail
- 5 years in Public Sector, including Greater London Authority (GLA) and TfL
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication, facilitating and influencing skills
- Strong positive communicator – able to write convincingly and present effectively to a wide range of audiences
- Ability to influence all levels, including suppliers and senior-level executives
- Detail oriented but also able to see the big picture
- Highly collaborative, able to work across different groups, influencing and promoting cohesiveness
- Lateral thinker – able to spot linkages and dependencies
- Adaptable and flexible
