BigAmbition Student Competition Rules:

This Competition is being run and administered by e-skills UK Sector Skills Council Limited (e-skills UK) of: 1 Castle Lane, London SW1E 6DR (Main Address)

These Rules are subject to interpretation under English law and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Duration

  • Competition closes on Friday 5th March 2010.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible for entry into the Competition. e-skills UK shall not be responsible for any undeliverable entries.
  • e-skills UK may terminate or suspend the Competition at any time due to supervening circumstances beyond their control.


Who can enter

  • All BigAmbition registered users


Please ensure that the content of your entry is your own original work and does not incorporate any of the following:

  • Rude offensive or inappropriate material including swear words.
  • Show anyone in a bad light or teases harasses anyone or contains inappropriate language.
  • Neither breaches any other person's intellectual property rights including copyright and trade marks nor contains 'confidential information' or contains anyone’s trade secrets unless such person has consented to such use.
  • Any discriminatory material.
  • Contains any untruths or misrepresents any fact or matter. e-skills UK reserve the right in their absolute discretion to disqualify any entry that is inappropriate.


Judging and Announcement

  • All eligible entries received will be looked at by an e-skills UK representative and winning entries chosen to be published.
  • The winning entrants will be picked during the week after 26th February 2010 and shall be informed by e-mail.


Acceptance of Prize

  • First prize – Work published on www.bigambition.co.uk and 2 days work experience at BigAmbition in London.
  • As well as details of names, the eligible entrant hereby agrees that e-skills UK may also publicise statements made by or attributed to winners relating to the Competition and the likeness of any finalist or winner, unless otherwise requested.


Right to use the entry

Submission of any entry further constitutes the entrant’s consent and grants a perpetual royalty free exclusive license to e-skills UK over any and all rights, title, Intellectual Property rights and interest in the entry, including, without limitation, all patent rights, copyrights and any other intellectual property and the entrant hereby agrees to waive all moral rights he or she may have to enable e-skills UK to publish, modify or otherwise make use as it see fit of the content of such entry. e-skills UK is under no obligation to return any entries to the entrants.
