JOB TITLE: IT Project Manager for Cisco on Cisco

• Develop training for employees and customers about Cisco's products
• The job changes from the day to day but the overall job is about maintaining e-learning content

RELATED DEGREE:

• Did GCSE ICT
• IT course at college which involved Visual Basic and Microsoft Access
• Went to Warwick University and did a Computer and Business Studies course

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Always loved technology
• Built a stock control system for her dad's hair and beauty shop - was exciting to see the practical application of technology
• Did an internship whilst at university, spending a year at Cisco. Was asked to join full time after her degree

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Even just a few day's work experience is so vital and will help you to build up experience and contacts
• Have confidence and believe in yourself
