JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer

• Technical advisor to a set of customers
• Own the technical relationship from Cisco into the customer
• Responsible for designing Cisco solutions for customers and working with the sales team to position these to customers
• Carry out pre-sales work by working on proposals and costings with the sales team.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years of work experience in the IT networking industry
• Started work in the IT industry by joining an IT graduate recruitment programme
• Worked in a variety of network roles to date, including network design, implementation, support, and pre-sales work

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Enthusiasm for working with technology
• Ability to position technology to solve business problems
• Willingness to continually learn new skills and adapt to change
• Excellent people skills - must enjoy interacting with people in a variety of job roles
