  • Looks after teams of art handlers, photographers and other registrars

RELATED DEGREE:

  • A Level Art, Art History and Spanish
  • Foundation Certificate in Art and Design
  • Fine Art degree
  • Postgraduate in Museum studies and Gallery Management at University of Manchester

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Worked for a year at the National Gallery
  • Did an internship at the Metropolitan Museum in New York in the press office, helped her to decide that she didn't want to be in that department!
  • Applied straight away for the job at the Tate
  • Since being at the Tate has done courses in Art Law to further develop

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • You don't have to have the perfect education
  • What is important is experience like an internship, just to show you are interested in the field
  • Keep trying and don't be put off straight away - sometimes can look good if you apply again
