  • Junior programmer/Operator with confectionary manufacturer (Rowntree Mackintosh/Nestle) rising to Analyst Programmer on national programming projects
  • Senior analyst programmer supporting a NHS health commission with technology services company Norwich Systems and Accounting Ltd.
  • Systems engineer to technology evangelist with Microsoft
  • Largest audience presented to: 7500 Tech Ed conference, Europe
  • Most famous place of work: No 10 Prime Minister’s office computer room
  • Favourite career successes: ‘Building Robots’ supplement for PC Plus magazine. A 36 page supplement on building and programming robots read by over 100,000 people.
  • Police mobile device integration project. Connecting smart devices to Police computer systems to enable Police Officers on patrol to query the enormous and varied databases while staying on patrol – where Police should be!
  • Presenting to audiences over 1000 people in size. Always an exciting opportunity and one I still relish even after 15 years of doing it.
  • Most frightening career experiences:
  • First ever presentation for Microsoft at the Harrogate Healthcare Conference
  • Presenting to 7500 people at Tech Ed, Europe
