JOB TITLE: Tate Kids Editor

  • Sharna Jackson, Tate Kids EditorThis involves leading the development of the new site, including project management, producing, overseeing and quality controlling all content on Tate Kids including the very popular Art Sparks animated series and Street Art game
  • Commission multimedia content and brief designers on the creation of material
  • Collaborate with artists and curators to produce new content
  • Write, update, moderate and edit content
  • Track and analyse statistical data related to the site
  • Develop and maintain suitable partnerships for the development and distribution of materials

RELATED DEGREE:

  • MA in Media Culture and Communication at the Institute of Education
  • BA in English and Media Studies

SKILLS REQURIED

  • Experience of commissioning and editing online projects for children
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
